Qualifications:
i. Honor’s Bachelor’s Degree in medicine and surgery from a reputable institution.
ii. Successful completion of specialized training in cardiology.
iii. Must be registered with a license from the medical council of Uganda.
iv. Minimum three years of working experience as cardiologist.
Duties and Responsibilities
i. Diagnose, treat, manage and prevent diseases or conditions of the cardiovascular system.
ii. Perform exercise tests, diagnostic image tests, echocardiography ECG etc.
iii. Develop treatment plans for medications or therapy to help patients reach their goal.
iv. Administer emergency cardiac care for the heart problems
v. Provide patients with tools and methods for recovery and better quality of life.
